Colliers International Georgia carried out property use analysis for left embankment of Mtkvari River

Within the framework of one of the consulting projects, the real estate services company Colliers International Georgia carried out property use analysis for left embankment of Mtkvari River, in particular, the territory adjacent to Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue.

The analisys area covered 276 ha. For detailed analysis, the area was divided into blocks thus appraising a functional mix of each block separately.

The survey, which covered large-scale fieldworks, revealed the functional distribution of the entire area as well as individual blocks respectively. Apart from showing the prevailing functional elements, the survey dwelt upon the lack of the entire area as well as individual blocks separately.

In addition, existing constructions, vacant lands and buildings which can be later developed in the study area have been thoroughly studied. Furthermore, the projects planned in this area by the City Hall were discussed as well. The analysis revealed the prospects of the future development of the survey area.

On the basis of the results of functional research, Colliers presented a strategic vision of the development of the area for each and every block.

"The conducted work is a good example of how urban planning projects should be implemented in Georgia. It is very important, though quite rare for the Georgian economy, to well understand the business perspectives of the research area and create a relevant strategic plan, in other words, to elaborate the concept of development for the study area. Infrastructural and architectural planning of this concept is set out for the following stage of the survey," - Head of the department of Colliers Development Consulting, Levan Gvaramadze stated.

Together with Colliers, the consulting company Geographic as well as the Architectural Studio ARS contribute to the implementation of the Consulting Project.
