Against the background of the pandemic, the significance of multifunctional complexes has come to the fore. This means more responsibility for representatives from this field – responsibility towards your customers and your own brand. How is King David responding to these challenges?
King David adopted a different approach to this new reality. We made sure that what was impossible before, has become possible. The sale of the last remaining apartments has started at discounted prices. This gives customers the opportunity to live in the city centre and enjoy life to the full in a place where everything has been set up for their comfort.
Nobody could imagine the reality in which we would find ourselves, and the problems we would have to face. We still do not know how long this will last. We have been forced to work, live, hold meetings, read lectures and relax without leaving home, and this turned out to be quite difficult. We needed a new concept, and that is exactly what lies behind King David – the first condominium-type complex in Georgia. Here it is possible to live, work and relax without leaving the building. This has made it easier for residents to live through the pandemic.
Since we have mentioned the pandemic, could you also briefly tell us about the new security standards?
The complex meets all requirements that are viewed as new security standards. Everyone in the building has to undergo temperature checks. Lobbies, co-working spaces and elevators are disinfected on an hourly basis, reducing the number of potential infection sources to a minimum.
What are the main advantages offered by the complex?
Apart from the diverse outlets found inside the complex, the main advantage of King David is the set of highest standards and quality that it has offered its customers from the very beginning. Although the complex is located in the heart of the city, it is fully isolated from noise. The façade has been designed by the German firm Schuco, which manufactures energy-saving aluminium façade systems. Materials used on the façade include triplex glass and low-emission glass manufactured by the American company Guardin Glass, which ensures efficient use of the heating and cooling systems inside the building. It is also important that the engineering and technological aspects are developed to the highest level. The fire safety, heating, cooling and ventilation systems inside the complex, the water reserve and the energy-efficient glass guarantee security and comfort. These are only some of the details that bear testimony to the highest international standards that the complex has been built on. The quality of construction is one of our main advantages.
What are the current challenges, and what are the plans for the future?
It was very difficult to successfully implement the idea of offering the last remaining apartments at discounted rates, but I believe that we have successfully managed to overcome this challenge. As for the plans, along with the existing diverse offers, we are planning to arrange new spaces inside the complex. These include the KD META RESTAURANT and the META BUSINESS HOTEL. These spaces will be designed to meet all of the residents’ needs, and to further expand the range of services on offer. We also plan to make the pool and the commercial spaces fully operational by the end of the year. We are not yet disclosing the list of brands that will occupy these spaces, but our customers will know their identities
