Its story began with a group of creative people striving for common goals. “We saw the market potential and need for change. With a wealth of experience and a team of professionals, we decided not to shy away from risks and challenges,” the company’s Head of Business Development Temur Bitsadze tells us in an interview.
Any successful company must adapt to a competitive environment, strive for innovation, remain viable and ensure future growth by constantly focussing both on short-term decisions and long-term strategy. This was the case with the Alliance Group, which soon turned the concept of creating a multifunctional complex in cooperation with international brands into the most in-demand product in the region, resulting in the highly dynamic development of the investment real estate sector.
Due to the fact that progress is a process of constant movement and there is no limit to development, Alliance Group is one of the first Georgian construction and development companies which, in collaboration with global brands, has created multifunctional hotel-type complexes, introduced modern building standards and implemented a distinctive investment culture. According to Temur Bitsadze, employees play a crucial role in the success of the firm. “We have a team of highly qualified professionals – sales, after-sales and back office staff, as well as experienced builders, engineers and architects who have been with the Alliance Group from the very beginning. Our company was founded on high competence, teamwork and values, which ensures the strength of Alliance Group.”
This tight team consists of people with different experiences and skills who complement each other, work together towards a common goal and use their years of experience in construction and development, unique architecture and location, relationship with world-class brands and perfect investment concept to occupy one of the major niches on the Georgian development market. Competition on the market is already quite big, which in turn poses a number of challenges for the actors: “Naturally, the company’s constant development and progress is associated with significant challenges. Our greatest experience was the implementation of international construction or investment standards which, in addition to a long and productive partnership with global brands, allowed us to see the industry in a new light and implement trends,” Temur Bitsadze says.
Among the challenges, one of the Alliance Group’s biggest achievements is the introduction of the first World Trade Center in the region and the signing of an agreement with the international hotel brand Hyatt. Both these facilities will form part of the Alliance Centropolis project, which will help turn Batumi into a centre for business tourism and business development.
Alliance began its international expansion in 2012, constantly adapting to the changing market needs: “The pandemic and other external factors have led to a number of structural changes that are currently being reversed. By the end of the year, we will be active again in several countries. At the same time, the geographical area of demand for our products has expanded significantly, giving us the opportunity to open offices in other new locations, run active campaigns and establish close partnerships,” notes Temur Bitsadze and adds that with each new project, the Alliance Group is constantly able to offer novelty and innovation to the market, and that the company is currently exploring new trends and directions that will be implemented in new projects.
