Axis Towers – Multifunctional Project of the Year

Axis Towers has been named as the best multifunctional project of the year at the EEA Real Estate Forum & Project Awards, which took place in Ukraine on 23-24 November.

EEA Real Estate Forum & Project Awards is the largest regional event dedicated to the real estate market. Its aim is to identify the most outstanding construction and development projects in Eastern Europe and Asia. The event was organised by the Ukraine Real Estate Club and EuropaProperty.com. The voting process was supervised by the methodological partner of the event, Ernst & Young.

Construction of the large-scale multifunctional complex Axis Towers was resumed in 2015 under the guidance of a partnership between Axis and the Georgian Co-Investment Fund. The complex comprises 41 levels – 37 above the ground, and 4 underground – and is 147 metres tall.

Axis Towers combines 5 different areas of development by offering residential, office, commercial and recreational/entertainment functions, as well as housing the 5-star Pullman Hotel. Far from getting in each other’s way, these functions create a synergy effect, thereby increasing the value of each of the functions in question.

The Axis Towers construction process is proceeding on schedule. As of today, the structure of the residential tower has been completed, with the outer works on its façade due to begin in January 2017. The five-level pedestal of the glass tower has also been completed, and works are actively ongoing to complete its structure. The construction works are due to be finished in December 2017, and tenants will be able to take up residence in their flats in the spring of 2018.
